AMAZON HOME REFRESH

HOME REFRESH

Something about switching things up in the house for Spring is refreshing. Out with the old in with the new right? Meh, not necessarily at our house. I am the opposite of a hoarder, Ill donate or throw things away before I hold onto them for too long. I have the same mentality with things in the house as I do with my closet, if I haven’t utilized it in the last couple years, I’m probably not going to. That being said, I’m not someone who wants to spend money on “refreshing” the house either. Fortunately, in this sweet world we live in there’s this magical invention of Amazon, and MAAAAAAN do I get down on some of their home decor. Honestly though, some of the stuff I get off of their you might not even consider “home Decor”,. It’s about making it your own, making it represent the vibe you’re trying to get. For me, it’s about creating a space we’re excited to get back to when we leave, whether we’re on another road adventure or just at the office for the day. Below you’ll find links to a few of my recent Amazon Home finds.

Scoping out Etsy as well for home finds can also help make it feel like you. I found these great horse prints from a sweet shop named Shutter Tree and I had Kyle make me wood frames for them out of some old wood and stain we had in the garage.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that I use a lot of plants and greenery around our home space as well. Putting indoor friendly plants inside are a good way to bring a sense of calm and the great outdoors to a space. On top of the natural air quality benefits you receive from them as well. And if you find that your green thumb is lacking, try finding good FAUX FOLIAGE on Amazon as well to help bring a natural element to your space.

Re working things I already have and finding ways to re use them in other rooms is part of the creative process I enjoy when it comes to refreshing a space. De clutter the space, re work it, try it, and if you don’t like it, move it. Don’t be afraid to try things and not like it. I gravitate to natural colors, and elements, it helps make me feel like I’ve brought the outdoors, indoors with me. Simple woods, browns, blacks, and touches of green make up a lot of the color pallet you’ll see around our home.

The days of over spending to make your home feel like your space are long gone my friends. Get your HOME VIBE ON!!
