Breckenridge or Bust...

It’s happening… the trip we’ve been looking forward to for the last year is a couple days away. We’re spending a week in Breckenridge with some of the greatest friends.

Around this time of year I get “the itch” BIG TIME. That craving to face plant into some snow, breathe in that mountain air, and sit by a fire with wine or whiskey. And Breckenridge at Christmas time won’t disappoint, this I know.

lOvE Packing? or LoAtHe Packing?

I think I’m a mut. A mix of both love and loathe for packing. Question? What do you bring on a trip to the mountains at winter time? Luckily we are driving so that “is my bag overweight” anxiety isn’t a problem this round. But as much as I LOVE winter clothes, what in the crap…. PACKING FOR WINTER is brutal. I think I say it to myself damn near every time, LAYERS, WOMAN, LAYERS. And every time I over do it. Boots? jackets? Leggings (DUH)? Sweatpants? Long Johns? Jeans? This list is ridiculous. And all the while, EVERY TIME I go to the mountains its the same…. jacket, layers, boots. COMFY AND WARM.

There’s no doubt in my mind that my packing should look something like laundry mat soon. Throw it all in, hope it fits, and pray you’ve got it all. What works for y’all? I’m open to trying something less chaotic next go ‘round.

Let’s be seriou… This girl would gladly go with what I could carry on my back if it meant I get to spend 3 seconds in those Mountains. We’re excited to spend some time with our sweet friends in a magical place at Christmas time! They’re not ready for the group headed their way ; )

We’re comin’ for ya CO!!
